Your family is changing so fast, isn’t it? Your children (and yes, they will be your “children” even when they’re married and have kids of their own) are growing up, and becoming more like adults every day. Don’t you wish you could just “freeze time” and hold these special moments forever?
My name is Rick Mueller and capturing wonderful family memories is what I’ve devoted my life to.I’m a professional family photographer, but more than that, I’m just like you… I’m a family person.
Time is marching on faster then ever. A family portrait hanging in your home effectively stops the clock.
Can you relate to this at all? I wake up every morning and wonder where the time is going. Do you ever do that? Have you noticed that, the older you and your children get, the faster time seems to fly? I’ve been creating family portraits of my family every year. But there’s one thing I still wish I had MORE portraits of the kids as they grew up.
What I wouldn’t give to be able to go back in time, and capture those moments on film. That’s one of the reasons I became a professional photographer – I want to help other families hold on to their family memories forever, and never regret not having a family portrait done.
What about having a portrait made in a place your family loves? There are so many areas to work in here in our beautiful Sonoran Desert. Sunset is a wonderful time to get that warm glow as the day closes.
What about a place you have all enjoyed and loved to spend time in? Your own backyard! What great memories this holds for your family. Even of you move to another home, you will always be able to remember the wonderful times shared here.
Here is what a recent family portrait client had to say
When it comes to capturing those precious moments in pictures, there is no one better than Rick Mueller! He is a pure pleasure to work with and he has a great sense of humor, which works really well to calm the nerves of those who might be anxious or hesitant about having their picture taken. Rick’s dedication to his profession is extra ordinary. By using his incredible skill set, state-of-the-art equipment, superlative imagination and creativity, he doesn’t just take pictures, but commits to capturing and telling “your story” in an artistic and meaningful manner.
Our first experience with Rick was an over-the-top request to document a very special yet complicated time in our family to include our two graduating daughters, our three dogs, our two horses and twenty-two wonderful years of marriage. Rick worked tirelessly during an entire day of photographing, always watching the changing sunlight, looking for that perfect, spontaneous and unrehearsed moment, adding levity and ease when our smiles grew tired, and putting forth a heart-felt and genuine desire to create lasting memories of the very special relationships that exist between our family and our much loved animals. Rick brought a myriad of backdrops and backgrounds with him in addition to using a multitude of outdoor settings; he added numerous lighting effects and with a great deal of grace, he patiently waited during our many wardrobe changes. Most impressive was Rick’s extreme sensitivity to the needs of our animals as he knew exactly how to deal with their idiosyncrasies.
Rick is always punctual and arrives fully prepared to give you his undivided attention. There are no interruptions due to cell phone calls, other client’s needs or personal matters. The fact that Rick brings his entire studio to you, wherever that may be, is a tribute to his flexibility and a testimonial to his excellent credentials. Rick does not produce stylized pictures that are then matted and put into a pretty frame. Rick’s final products are truly pieces of art that will be proudly displayed for many, many years.
While our family has used a multitude of well know studio photographers over the years, after working with Rick, he will be our “forever” photographer, for there is none better.
